Lubiri High School have come out to also deny any wrongdoing as regards the now popular video trending online, in which high school students are seen getting cosy and so dirty with each other on a clearly written on ‘Midland High School’ bus
Midland headmaster, FX Kyasa agreed that the bus was the school’s, but not the students in it. He explained that another high school, Lubiri had hired the bus for their agriculture trip in Jinja on Friday. He displayed a receipt to prove that.

Lubiri have however also avoided being mentioned in the same sentence with the disgraceful bad mannered students. In an official statement dated June, 11, 2022, Lubiri High School distanced themselves from the ugly acts, as they said only more investigations can establish the whole truth.
“There is a video circulating on social media involving misconduct of some students on a school bus. Lubiri High School however strongly distances itself from it and any involvement thereto,” the statement from Lubiri partly read.
“We are an institution built on imparting discipline and cultural norms to the young generation. We therefore strongly condemn such misbehavior. Investigations are underway in regards to its authenticity.”

However, Lubiri’s statement does not in any proper way suggest that they didn’t hire Midland’s bus, they also seem to hesitate to mention wether or not the students are theirs. This could as well imply that they’re only buying some time as they internally carry on thorough investigations to establish who did what.
