Gordon Bafaki, the former Kazo MP has perished in road accident on Northern Bypass in Kampala.
The fatal accident occurred in the wee hours of Wednesday as the former legislator returned from Kiruhura district where he was a committee member of Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s homecoming party.
According to police report, Bafaki was driving a Toyota Land Cruiser TX registration number UBD 965E which crashed with a trailer registration number KBZ539Z/ZC8776.
ASP Faridah Nampiima, PRO, Traffic and Road Safety has revealed that the driver of the Trailer identified as Kahagi John Kinuthia is in police custody to help in investigations.
