After a long wait for the festival and facing resistance from parliament with Speaker Anita Among calling it off, Nyege Nyege Festival had to finally take place at Itanda Falls,it’s now new home.
Day two shinned a light on the event as compared to day one. The key highlight of the event was Cindy Sanyu’s perfomance that shook revelers with extra ordinary action,full of vibe.
Cindy took to the main stage and performed almost all her entire songs including Nkoye Amateeka,Run this City,Boom party,Copy Cat and Ayokyayokya among others playing back to back from her old to new and vise versa that sent the crowds into Frenzy.
Cindy’s performance was incredible with fans and music lovers who were chugged on Bell Lager and Uganda Waragi Products, the main sponsors of the event, organized by Talent Africa applauding the singer for her energetic performance.
She truly left no stone unturned as she touched on almost every genre,entertaining all the music lovers who had gathered to watch her perform.
It was then Navio’s turn who also never disappointed the already hyped revelers.
Navio made sure he he kept the crowd cheering and dancing and singing along to his songs including Ngalo,Raha,Njogereza and Nawuliranga among others.
He left fans wanting more of his performance.
For those who wanted to party untill morning,it was no ones business to stop anyone from partying as they danced to the DJ mixes till 6 am in the morning of Saturday.
More action lined up tonight including performances from Pallaso,Selector Jay,Alpha Otim and DJ Alisha among others.
