Uganda’s top female singer and songwriter Sheebah Karungi Samali has revealed the reason as to why she will be having her upcoming concert at the Kampala Serena Hotel come the 9th and 10th of December, 2022.
While responding to a question asked to her by Sqoop’s Emuk Benjamen as to why she chose Serena Hotel, a venue with limited space when her fans all over the country would need to attend it, Karungi said that it is one of a kind event that she has dreamt of having for a long time.
“And to answer your question Benjamen, yes its true Serena is a bit limited venue which cannot accommodate many people but I also need to remind you that I have been putting my concerts at outdoor venues, bigger ones but this is a one of a kind my fans have never seen.
To be on record, this is one of the concerts I have dreamt of all my life, right from the time I was 16, I had always wanted to do a show at Serena and here we are. Having a concert at Serena is my dream come true and I can’t wait to give my fans and all the music lovers the best of what I have,” said Sheebah.
The 33-year-old Afrobeats singer also revealed that some of her fans have been asking her for an executive concert and there was no better venue to deliver exactly what they want.
“I have had some of my fans asking for an executive concert and the Serena concert is what I am giving them. All you have to do is to book for your tickets before they are sold out because there will be no tickets sold at the gate.”
Sheebah further more added that, “Just know this is going to be an exclusive show of all time, one you have never seen before. There will be no interruptions, even rain can stop it, and nothing will interfere with Sheebah Live in Serena.”
