A man in Arua, who sold his car to bet on Uganda to beat Tanzania has shocked the world after winning his bet.

Rogers Mato scored a last-minute goal for Uganda to secure all 3 points from Tanzania. However, this wasn’t an ordinary win for Ugandans, it was a ‘money-winning’ moment for some Ugandans like Jurua after staking 3 million on the visitors.

In a phone interview with this website, Jurua, who was too excited said that he almost got heart failure when Uganda had no clear chance on target.

“I almost died of heart failure. Trust me, from the time go, my heart didn’t stop over pumping and when the game was paused, I just wanted it to be canceled so that I get my stake back. I was sweating from all corners of my body, and at some point, my spirit left me. I knew now that my village people were after me and they were praying very hard for me to lose but God stood with me,” he narrated.

Alex now brags with a profit of 9 million shillings and stands strong that he will never give up on this journey until he makes more than 500 million from sports betting within one month of consistency.
