Sumz, a leading a manufacturing company dealing in agro-foods processing under the umbrella of Psalms food industries has named Miss Teen and Miss High School finalists its brand ambassadors.
The brand ambassadors according to Sumz, will represent the company in their respective schools and regions.
While unveiling the brand ambassadors, Dr. Denis Ngabirano CEO Sumz acknowledged the fact that the company trusts in its brand ambassadors and there were no better individuals to go with.
“As a company, we believe there was no better team that these incredible Miss Teen and Miss High School beauties and we highly hope and trust that their representation will be a great one.”
Ngabirano told Kampala Sqoop’s Emuk Benjamen that the team that will be representing Sumz for a period of one year, will be evaluated and upon good performance, their contracts could be extended and as well as stand a chance of scooping jobs from the Nansana based company.
“Our respective ambassadors will be given chance based on their performance within one year stipulated in their contracts and upon doing well, they can easily be extended for yet another year and they can even be employed here in Sumz,“ he said.
The Sumz newly unveiled ambassadors include; Patience Komuhangi Uwase (Elite High School – Entebbe) Miss Teen and Asiimire Isabell Nyangoma (Imaculate Heart Girls’ School – Nyakibare) Miss High School. Others include Miss Faith who also doubles as 1st runner up Miss Teen Nakawoya Rian and Blessing Patience 1st runner up Miss High School among others.
Ngabirano further urged the girls to be disciplined, desist from bad behaviors including drugs, early sex among others and strike a balance between their academics and the respective ambassadorial roles Sumz has entrusted them with.
Miss Faith and 1st runner up Miss Teen Nakawoya Rian told Kampala Sqoop that the her ambassadorial opportunity is an amazing one and God given since she believes all forms of leadership comes from God.

She expressed her delightedness having been selected brand ambassador Sumz saying it’s a one of a kind great opportunity that will eventually boost her confidence and will later foster her take on yet other higher roles.
“I am so delighted to represent a big company such as Sumz at my School and beyond, it wasn’t by coincidence that they selected us to be part of this and trust me this means a lot to me and my colleagues. I am thankful to God for the opportunity and I will surely take on the role and be a good example to my fellow students as well as all young people in Uganda.”
