A private bodyguard, contracted to guard one of the high-profile pastors in Uganda has left his role after winning more than 300 million from fixed games.
Andrew Ochola revealed that his employer has been paying him well but it wasn’t enough for him to take care of his needs.
“He used to pay us well but of course, in my 40s now, I need a lot of money not entirely surviving on salary,” he said.
Ochola revealed that he got connections from his friends who resigned a few months ago, he asked for their quick advice and he was guided.
“My friends left this job and immediately started showing fancy lifestyles, I used to ask them how they got all that money but they were never open to me until one day one called me to his apartment and started briefing me,” he narrated.
“Imagine someone who was living in a single room, moving into an apartment within a few months. It really hit me so hard!”
“So he told me about betting and specifically manipulated games, I told them I have no idea of how betting is done, and he said, don’t mind because these are direct games, you bet the way you receive them. So I welcomed the idea, but he told me, registration is 1m and after getting the money, I should go to their website and register, after registration, I would receive an email immediately. So I went back home, got my savings and paid, waited a short time, and received an email with all the instructions and details. They told me the maximum amount to stake and after winning, how to withdraw my winnings.”
“After staking, I called this guy on WhatsApp and sent him my ticket to monitor in case I win, he indeed called me the following morning with the good news! I was the happiest. I immediately got my phone, called my boss and told him my mind. I am quitting over my own reasons!”
