Uganda’s number one sensation Hip-hop, Afrobeat, and Rap Legend real name Daniel Lubwama Kigozi alias Navio has assured his fans and music lovers of his concert set for Saturday September 2, 2023.
Navio will be celebrating his successful musical career spanning over 20 years now; 2 decades in the music industry. The concert dubbed ‘20 Years of Navio,’ will be happening at the Kampala Sheraton Gardens.
The singer while announcing his upcoming concert, told journalists that the event will be a fusion of top-tier Ugandan talent, nostalgia, and his signature hits.
“I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every sponsor, promoter and media house that has lent their unwavering support to the ’20 Years of Navio’ concert. This milestone marks a remarkable journey that has shown me that it’s not always about being the most talented, but it’s about connecting with the community. And community outreach has been a driving force for me to make a meaningful impact beyond the stage.
In this journey, no one can guarantee the years we have while performing but I’m committed to giving two to three hours of undiluted energy and passion during every performance. I’m anticipating a show that will be nothing short of amazing.”
Navio also added that, “I hope to be remembered as a Rubaga boy who embraced music and cherished his country. Let’s celebrate this milestone together!”
