Kora Norya stands in Mbarara as a vibrant hub of commerce, colored by fresh produce and the lively chatter of vendors blended into a symphony of daily life. Movit Products Limited together with the local community cleaned Kora Norya market in a bid to celebrate its 26 years of Movit’s existence.

Movit Products limited is the leading manufacturer of beauty and personal care products in Uganda with a reach in 10 African Countries with 7 brands in Hair, Skin and BayCare products in Uganda. Through its Movit brand, Movit Products Limited has chosen to celebrate its 26 years of existence with people of Kora Norya by cleaning and gifting out Movit family soap, Skinguard sanitiser and Baby Junior soap.

Movit, decided to embark on a unique initiative of cleaning and rejuvenating the Kora Norya market, envisioning a brighter, more inviting space for both vendors and customers. The activity is aimed at not only enhancing the market’s aesthetic appeal but also to promote hygiene and create a positive impact on the overall atmosphere.

The Movit team collaborated with local authorities and market vendors to plan the grand cleanup. As the sun rose on a Tuesday morning, a fleet of Movit-branded vehicles and enthusiastic volunteers gathered at the market. armed with brooms, mops, and eco-friendly cleaning products ready to clean Kora Norya.

The volunteers were divided into groups, each assigned a specific section of the market. Movit’s staff worked side by side with market vendors, creating a sense of unity and shared responsibility. Laughter and conversation filled the air as they swept away dust and debris, revealing the vibrant colours of the market stalls.

Movit was applauded by Ms. Ketty Byarugaba, the Market Master for the extra mile of providing Movit Products that include soap, jelly & Sanitizer, bins, and waste disposal points throughout the market, encouraging sustainable practices and distributing hygiene kits to vendors, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness in promoting a healthy business environment by working together with the community to clean the market.

Movit Products Limited didn’t stop at cleaning alone. They gave out Skin Guard Sanitiser, Baby Junior soap and Movit family soap to the vendors as a way of celebrating with their customers and inviting the community to join in the festivities at Kakyeka Stadium on the 9th of December in Mbarara. Movit’s representatives Ms. Allen Arinaitwe Project Manager at Movit Products Limited. took the opportunity to express their commitment to enhancing everyday living through its Movit brand and continuously meeting customer expectations.
