SK!P App is the latest application Uganda has recently welcomed. Appearing on the discussion panel, Stanbic’s Diana Kaganzi did justice to the day’s topic; ‘Transforming event engagement and marketing strategies through innovative technology,’ when she informed that such technologies save both time and money whilst achieving the intended goal with ease.
Kaganzi explained that event organizers in Africa have been facing major barriers in organizing and executing events greatly because they don’t center their events to the right people and don’t pay attention, rather ask themselves questions as to why they are inviting that particular section of people to their specific events.
“The biggest mistake key event players and organizations make is failing to define their target groups, those relevant for a certain discussion in specific fields. Also, I have realized that most startups, companies rush to lead with technologies rather than unveil a product or service without paying attention to the processes. You ought to lead with the processes (word) with clear definition of your target market among others.”
She further highlighted the need for organizations, companies and agencies to dwell more on key aspects including research, partnerships and talent investment among others so as to stay relevant in business or risk being driven out of business.
