After years of his fans’ anticipation, versatile Dancehall and Reggae artiste A Pass finally delivered on his promise with a sold-out concert at Kampala Serena Hotel last Friday.
This was his maiden concert, offering fans an unforgettable experience marked by state-of-the-art production courtesy of Fenon Events.
A Pass, the self-proclaimed “Teacher,” made the night a thrilling lesson for his fans as he performed a mix of both his latest and classic hits.

The evening kicked off with a live DJ set, keeping the crowd energized, followed by a brief curtain raising performance from the new girl group Warafiki until 9:18 PM when A Pass made his grand entrance, emerging from a digital cage, bathed in stunning lighting as the beat to Midnight Drum set the tone.
The eager crowd, already on their feet, roared with excitement as A Pass launched into his first set. Backed by a 6-man band, he performed hits like Tuli Kubigere, Sida Mukyalo, Oruso, Eh, alongside Dancer Ritah Dancehall, Bagonza, Gamululu, and Memories, with Lilian Mbabazi joining him on stage for a memorable collaboration.
In the second set, the energy shifted to romance as A Pass serenaded the audience with songs like What People Do, Nkwagala, True Story, Like A Uber, Am Loving, Tulo, and My Lover, with Likkle Bangi adding to the vibe.
He also made sure to cater to his Reggae fans in the third set, performing crowd favorites like Mariana, Gimme A Kiss, Omunakyalo, Addicted, So High, and the ever-popular Wuuyo.
The final set saw A Pass deliver an electrifying performance with hits like Goated, Guli Wano, Pele, Mummy, Chupa Ku Chupa, Didadada, and Turn Up The Vibe, leaving the crowd in awe of his boundless energy at a quarter past 11 PM.
From the production, which set a new standard for concert experiences, to the fashion, to the dancers’ choreography and seamless organization, it was clear that A Pass (real name Alexander Bagonza) had invested immense time and effort into making this event a reality.
