The Eastside Tour Concert was more than just a musical event—it was a full-blown cultural celebration. Held at the Ndere Cultural Center in Kampala on Saturday, April 5, the concert featured a stunning blend of Ugandan and Nigerian talents that captivated a crowd of thousands.

The night began with DJ Tonny keeping early birds on their feet before Ugandan acts like Denesi, Lucas (Bantu Vibes), and Richman warmed up the stage. Ava Peace delivered one of the most memorable sets of the night, proving why she’s one of Uganda’s fastest-rising stars. Her energetic stage presence and commanding vocals—especially during “Ttabu” and “Batuleke”—had fans singing along word-for-word.

Joshua Baraka, a fan favorite and a true showman, brought a soulful and refined performance that elevated the concert. He connected effortlessly with the crowd, proving he’s not just a darling of Uganda but an artist of continental appeal.

Vinka followed with a show-stopping set packed with hit after hit, showing off why she’s one of East Africa’s most consistent and dynamic performers. From “Love Panic” to “Bailando,” her precision, dance moves, and charisma had the crowd in a frenzy.

The final stretch belonged to the Nigerian trio:

  • Magixx did not waste time and jumped on stage at 12:08 AM with a high-energy performance, blending youthful charisma and vocal maturity. He ended on a high, leaving fans asking for more.

The event was masterfully curated and executed, by Talent Africa, adding charm and professionalism to the event’s coverage and coordination.  The Eastside Tour was hosted by Sheila Salta and Sheilah Gashumba whose energy and presence on the scene contributed to the high standard of the show’s delivery, all night long!

From start to finish, the Eastside Tour Concert proved to be one of the biggest music highlights of the year in Uganda, a seamless blend of local and international artistry.
