MTN Uganda has turned up the volume once again, officially announcing that it’s backing Navio’s massive “Navio Live in Orchestra” concert set to shut down Kampala later this year. The news dropped at MTN Uganda headquarters, where Navio himself pulled up alongside music industry heavyweights and MTN’s top team to seal the deal.
This move isn’t random, MTN and Navio go way back. From repping the MTN Smart Series in 2016, to shaking stages at the MTN Hip Hop Awards, Full Moon Party, and boosting his jams on CallerTunez and MTN Pulse Rap Battles, the collab has been nothing short of legendary. MTN has kept Navio’s music pumping through its platforms and campaigns, proving that when it comes to Ugandan talent, they don’t just support it—they amplify it.
Now, the game is about to change. “The Navio Orchestra Experience” will be the first time in UG history an urban hip hop artist rocks it out with a full orchestra. Picture bars, beats, and violins all in one night—class meets street, and the result is gonna be explosive.
“MTN Uganda has always stood with artists who move audiences and inspire communities,” said John Paul Okwi, MTN Uganda’s Events and Sponsorships Manager. “Navio is an icon in Ugandan music, and this concert is another bold step in showing just how far our music has come. Together, our music is unstoppable.”
Navio himself couldn’t hide the excitement, “After doing nine concerts, we knew the 10th had to hit different. This is my first concert at Serena, and the first time you’ll see an urban artist backed by a full orchestra. It’s a big vision, and I gotta thank MTN Uganda for riding with me all the way.”
Tickets go for, Early Bird (MoMo only) at Shs130,000, Standard at Shs150,000, VIP goes for Shs3,000,000, VVIP is at Shs5,000,000 and Platinum Experience will only be at Shs10,000,000
Fans can lock in their spots quick and easy using the MTN MoMo App or from official outlets. This is more than a concert, it’s a cultural moment. MTN Uganda is calling on all music lovers, hip hop heads, and culture shapers to pull up and witness Navio in his bag like never before!
