2026 is starting off on a positive note for Football lovers. A new idea that is generating buzz across social media happens to be a creation of Media Personality and Comedian, Tumu Siime, that is dubbed The Fifth Official Quiz Tournament.
Talking to our reporter, Tumu Siime, the Creator of the Quiz said, “The Fifth Official Quiz Tournament was born out of love for football. I have been on Radio, Television, done content and podcasting, so, I always felt that people that support the entertainment industry and feed all this machine of showbiz need to have ways in which they too can share in the gains.”
This Football Quiz shall follow a standard sports tournament execution where 24 duos will compete in group stage. There will be 8 groups. The winning duo from each group will automatically qualify for the quarter finals, where they will progress to the semi-finals and lastly, the final.
The winning Duo will win Ugx 1,000,000, the runners up will win Ugx 500,000 and the third place team will win Ugx 250,000.
“The call for registrations is on and ends on the 18th of February 2026. Don’t hesistate DM us on social media. Our handle is @fifthofficialug across all platforms. This will be an interesting, positive way to platform the youth to an audience of over half a million people on social media while putting money in their pockets.” – said Brennan Mwebaze, who was licenced by Confederation of African Football as a football CAF D coach, and a judge at the Quiz.
“The Quiz hopes to engage the youth in a positive manner at a time when they seem to get distracted by negative influence from social media.” said Taremwa Constantine – an educator and a judge at the Quiz tournament.
The Fifth Official Quiz Tournament and The Fifth Official Ug Podcasts are products of TsolHub International Limited, a vibrant Media, Branding and Advertising Agency founded by Tumusiime Conan.
