More than 5 people have been injured in a YY coach bus accident that has occurred today at Amus, Kachumbala in Bukedea district.
The causalities have been rushed to Mbale regional referral hospital for treatment.
According to eye witnesses, the accident happened as a result of cattle crossing the road.
“The driver stopped to allow the cattle cross the road but he stopped while one side of the vehicle was sloppy forcing it to fall. More than 5 people have been rushed to Mbale hospital with minor injuries while others fainted due to the shock,” one eye witness said.
By the time of filing this report, the bus was still at the accident scene awaiting police intervention.
