When someone who has won gold believes in you, it helps you to soar higher and aim for the same.
While receiving Monetary Awards from MTN Uganda last Friday, Tokyo Olympic medalists Joshua Cheptegei and Peruth Chemutai took a minute to wish Mrs.Sylvia Namutebi Allibhai equivalent victory in the upcoming Mrs.World Competitions.
Sylvia, who is the current Mrs.Uganda will carry the Ugandan flag in the pageantry that not only recognizes married women for their beauty but also their involvement in humanitarian work.
The Pageant is set for January 2022 in Las Vegas, after this year’s event was cancelled due to the global effects of the pandemic.
However,the people of the hour, Olympics golden medalists Joshua Cheptegei and Peruth Chemutai came out to pass on some of their good luck and encouragement to Namutebi who Sylvia who celebrated her birthday last weekend,to go make Uganda proud.
Namutebi will be representing Uganda in the Mrs.World competitions in Las Vegas come January 2022.
In a video shared on Instagram, the jolly Cheptegei who also serves as Tourism ambassador, representing the Ugandan Silverback, and Chemutai sent their heartfelt wishes to Sylvia in the upcoming competitions.
“In the same spirit, we wish Sylvia the very best and pray for gold,”he said.
