Since its inception, Talent Africa Group has steadily built one of the most expansive and influential event portfolios in East Africa, reshaping how entertainment, culture, and corporate engagement are produced and experienced.

What began as a bold vision under the leadership of CEO Aly Alibhai has grown into a company whose event footprint cuts across music, comedy, festivals, tourism, lifestyle, and high-level corporate productions, making Talent Africa a defining force in the region’s creative economy.

In its early years, Talent Africa Group focused on establishing professionally run live entertainment experiences at a time when large-scale concerts were still rare and logistically challenging in Uganda.

The company became known for producing headline music concerts that brought together local stars, regional performers, and international acts, setting new standards in sound, stage design, audience experience, and artist management. These concerts created reliable platforms where Ugandan artists could perform before massive crowds under world-class production conditions.

Here’s a list of events that Talent Africa Group has organized or managed over the years — including festivals, concerts, corporate events, cultural celebrations, and landmark experiences (with corporate events clearly noted):

Major Music & Entertainment Events
These are headline public events, concerts, and festivals that Talent Africa Group has produced or been closely involved in:

Pearl of Africa Star Search – A national talent competition showcasing Ugandan singers.

Nyege Nyege Festival – A major cultural and music festival celebrating Ugandan and East African music, featuring local DJs, artists, and international performers; Talent Africa has played a key role in producing and elevating the festival to global prominence.

Mavin East Side Tour (Uganda) – A concert series featuring Nigerian artists alongside Ugandan talents — with local performers like Vinka, Ava Peace, Joshua Baraka, Denesi, and Bruce Dickson performing as opening acts.

Anne Kansiime’s Comedy Grill – A major live comedy experience headlined by Anne Kansiime, blending top comedians with emerging talent.

Legends of Sound: Afrigo @ 50 Concert – A grand celebration of the Afrigo Band’s 50 years, organised in partnership with Talent Africa.

Joshua Baraka’s “Into The Braka Land” Concert – Talent Africa-produced live performance marking the artist’s first headline show.

Flagship & Cultural Festivals
These are large, multi-day cultural showcases and city festivals: Afropalooza Festival – A three-day festival celebrating Uganda’s arts, music, food, fashion, performance arts, and cultural diversity. (Organised with partners such as MTN Uganda and others).

Nyege Nyege 10th Anniversary & The Hive Conference – An expanded edition of the festival with new panels, conference segments, and global cultural programming.

Corporate & High-Profile Events
Talent Africa has also produced corporate events, working with brands, governments, and institutions to deliver immersive experiences, including:

Disruptive Agricultural Technology (DAT) Challenge, corporate event, A conference and challenge event focused on agri-tech innovation for the Ugandan Ministry of Agriculture and partners.

Sheraton at 50 Gala Dinner – corporate event — A grand anniversary gala for Sheraton Kampala Hotel, combining celebration with professional production and entertainment.

Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo (POATE) – A major tourism-focused expo with live performances and creative showcases designed to boost Uganda’s tourism brand.

High-Profile Diplomatic & Social Engagements (e.g., event around a state visit to Kampala focusing on education and health) — highlighting TAG’s ability to manage dignitary-level programming within event production.

Aumex Conference / Ivyson Tour collaboration — A multi-day music business event that included an international artist tour as part of the conference (note: event linked to Talent Africa’s organisation and music business programming).

Additional Notable Events & Areas of Production
While not all of these were official standalone Talent Africa festivals, the company is credited with producing or managing the Ugandan legs or promotional components of the following types of events:

International artist concerts featuring names like Ne-Yo, Sean Paul, Wyclef Jean, Jidenna, Tiwa Savage, Kool & the Gang, Wizkid, Sauti Sol, Diamond Platnumz, Sean Kingston, Davido, Chronixx, P-Square, Major Lazer, and others (often produced or promoted by Talent Africa during tours).
