Music Festival and Star Performances will be one of the Ekyooto H Mpango festival’s main attractions in September 14 as lots of talents have been confirmed for the event and the legendary Blu3 girl group; Jackie Chandiru, Lilian Mbabazi and Cindy Sanyu have made it a promise to mash up the tourism city with their musical performances.
Chimpreports has established that the festival will feature performances by prominent artists from the Tooro Kingdom and special guest performers from across Uganda and beyond. Other artists confirmed for the festival include; local talents such as Titan, Irene Hinda, Rosette, Ayesiga, Draei Bitsc, Holy Trimmy, Sagio Mhza, and Home of Talent among others. Nes has it that there will also be surprise appearances from the undisclosed top artists as well. These performances will create an atmosphere of unity and celebration, drawing music lovers from near and far.
The festival, organized by Talent Africa Group in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife, and Antiquities, aims to promote tourism, cultural exchange, and economic growth in the region. This year’s edition follows the success of the 2021 hybrid festival held during the lockdown and seeks to elevate the Tooro region as a premier tourism destination in Africa.

While addressing the media at the festival launch, Deputy Prime Minister of Tooro Kingdom, Abwooli Harriet Nyakaka, emphasized the festival’s potential to boost the local economy.
