A Ugandan boda boda rider has left his wife speechless after coming home with a brand new Toyota Landcruiser TX.
Andrew Mugerwa, who has been riding a motorbike in Masaka town, revealed to his wife that he wanted to make it as a surprise to his wife since he wasn’t sure of what he was getting himself into.
According to Mugerwa, he risked his life savings without the consent of his wife to join sports betting which has not been helpful to him for the past 5 years.
“I have been betting for the past five years but the highest amount I won was 500,000 which came three years ago,” he said.
“I almost left betting but I started doing it for leisure because I was addicted to it and I couldn’t do away with it. I lost a lot but something in me was pushing me daily to bet,”
“One day, as I was seated in my stage while on my phone, I saw a story of how a student from KIU won some good millions from sports betting, I followed the story to the dot and I took a risk on how he joined the association that gave him the fixed games that won him all that money, I went to their website, read the offers, and the following day, I took that risk to withdraw the money I saved to subscribe for the games. After paying the 1m subscription, I received the game after like 3 days, I again risked the balance I had, and the rest is history. I won on the first bet and used all that I won to play the second game, I rushed to buy my dream car and now building my dream home. Since then, my life has been positive.”
