Forget boring speeches, flip charts, or stiff corporate suits. When Comic Teacher Mpamire walked into the MTN MoMo “Win School Fees” launch, the crowd wasn’t ready for what came next — a full-blown classroom experience where laughter became the blackboard, and MoMo was the ultimate lesson.

Armed with his imaginary cane, his sharp tongue, and a “classroom” packed with “students” (yes, even the MTN staff weren’t spared), Mpamire staged a show that was part financial literacy lecture, part comedy roast, and fully unforgettable.

The “class” featured a star-studded roll call,  media personality Brian Mulondo was crowned Head Boy, comedians like Kachapizo joined the fray, and MTN staff became unsuspecting “students” in the comedy chaos.

And boy, were they stubborn! Mpamire barked orders, banged tables, and even “disciplined” a few cheeky ones. But beneath the jokes, there was a golden lesson, Dial *165*80#, pay your school fees with MoMo, and you automatically enter the draw to win a full year’s school fees.

At one point, Teacher Mpamire turned to Kachapizo with a tough exam-style question, “Tell the class, how did Okello manage to win school fees for a whole year?”

Without blinking, Kachapizo delivered the answer of the day, “Okello used MoMo. He dialed 16580#, followed the prompts, paid his school fees, and boom! He entered the draw and won!”

The crowd went wild. The stubborn students finally “understood the topic.” And Teacher Mpamire, clearly proud, rewarded the answer with more drama — cane taps, table bangs, and exaggerated praise.

By the end, it wasn’t just about the jokes. The entire audience walked away with one unforgettable takeaway: MoMo is the smart, secure, and even hilarious way to pay school fees.

In true Mpamire style, what could have been a simple launch turned into a theatrical class session — complete with laughter, stubborn students, unexpected punishments, and one crystal-clear exam answer:

MoMo = School Fees Made Simple. And sometimes… Free.

It’s not every day that a campaign launch doubles as a comedy show. But MTN MoMo’s Term 3 “Win School Fees” launch proved that sometimes, the best way to teach is to make people laugh until they cry.

So if you missed class, here’s the homework: dial 16580#, pay your school fees with MoMo, and who knows? You just might be the next “Okello.”

Class dismissed.
