2 police officers arrested for using woman’s breasts to extort Shs3.5 million from male foreigner

Kenya: Police Constable Tabitha Nduta and Patrick Muneria who are in charge of tourists’ security at Bamburi Police Station were arrested on Monday, January 5.

According to a police report, the two on Saturday, January 2, extorted the said amount of money from Werner Bance after he refused to touch a woman’s breast.

Tanzanian minister captured caning people for exploiting the disabled The unnamed lady approached Werner who was enjoying his New Year celebrations at Indiana Hotel and requested him to buy her lunch but the tourist refused. He instead gave her KSh 100 bob which she rejected.

The troublesome woman then loosened her bra, removed one of her breasts and asked Werner to touch and feel the pleasure but the foreign national declined, reminding her that he was a married man and could not do such a thing.

The lady then made a phone call to two police officers who arrived at Indiana Hotel and snatched Werner’s phone and threatened him that he either gives them KSh 200,000 (About UGX6.7 million) or be jailed for seven years for refusing to touch woman’s breast.

The helpless tourist told the officers he did not have that amount but could raise KSh 106,000 (About UGX3.5 million) which they accepted and upon receiving it, they returned his cellphone.

“The matter was investigated and an identification parade was done where the two were positively identified by Mr Werner Bance as PC Tabitha Nduta PC Patrick Muneria both of tourist Police Bamburi,” police said in a report.

The duo was sent behind bars where they returned the money which has been kept as exhibit. They will be arraigned once investigations into the matter are completed.
