Its on this 9th of May, 2025! Brace yourself, Uganda, The Comedy Grill is about to serve up the hottest, juiciest roast this side of the equator, and no one is safe!
At the center of this laugh riot is none other than Anne Kansiime, Uganda’s undisputed queen of comedy. She’s fierce, she’s fearless, and she’s ready to roast anyone who blinks funny. Expect Kansiime to swing her machete of sarcasm, slice through egos, and leave the audience rolling under their tables! Okay, just be at Sheraton Hotel Kampala on Friday 9, 2025!
But hold on, this isn’t a one-woman roast. Look who’s joining her on the grill:
Salvador: The “Man from Ombokolo” himself, master of international laughs. He’s got stories so funny, you’ll forget the price of fuel for at least one night.
Madrat & Chico: Uganda’s dynamic disaster duo. These two can make a funeral feel like a carnival. They’ll bounce off each other like two drunk uncles at a village wedding.
Nana Kagga: Actress, producer, powerhouse — Nana’s wit is so sharp, she could fillet egos onstage without even breaking a nail.
GNL Zamba: Hip-hop meets mic drop. The lyrical ninja will roast with rhymes, dropping punchlines that land harder than his beats.
Gaetano Kagwa: Radio smooth-talker turned roast master. Trust Gaetano to butter you up with charm — then burn you with a cheeky jab.
Dr. Miria Matembe: Political powerhouse and fearless firebrand. Expect her to sprinkle some “constitutional pepper” on the lineup — and nobody dares talk back!
Prim Asiimwe, Sky, Sheila Gashumba and Omara Daniel — a lethal mix of glam, sass, and TV charm. These stars know how to dish it — whether it’s hot gossip or cold shade.
The show will be hosted by the most hilarious emcees including; Tuwangye Richard — the comeback king of clever quips and Deedan Muyiira — queen of energy, ready to slap some spice onto the night. Honestly with these two, this night will be pure comedy mayhem!
