Singer Sheebah Karungi alias Karma Queen, Swag Mama has come out to disclose to fans and music lovers that she will be taking a break from performances, concerts and music shows.

The Karma queen while announcing her partnership with Airtel Money ahead of her upcoming October 4th concert dubbed ‘Neyanziza,’ revealed that she wants to create some time for her to rest. The ‘Wankona’ songstress assured her fans and music enthusiasts that if she has to rest, that only means one thing, get off stage for some time.

“After my concert in October 4, 2024, at Lugogo Cricket Oval, I am going for this break; for, just like everyone else, we need to get our bodies and minds rested, take an example of schools and other organizations that have holidays among others.”

One would wonder why Sheebah badly wants some time to herself, could it be maternity leave? Well, our reporter established that the singer wants to have time not just for a break but to have the baby she is carrying in her womb, rested and not disturbed. It is quite clear that the queen Mama is heavily pregnant and that the doctors always advise pregnant mothers to desist from overworking themselves.

And yes, we all know the kind of energy she pulls while on stage, she gives it her all! And with a baby, it’s not possible for her to effectively carry on with her stage performances. So all in all, though I couldn’t come all out openly to say it, it is a no brainer that she will be going in for her maternity leave.

Muzoora Kabuga, Head Merchant Pay, Airtel Money, officially hands over the Neyanziza concert merchant code to Musician, Sheebah Karungi at the partnership announcement in Kansanga.

Muzoora Kabuga, Head Merchant Pay, Airtel Money, the concert’s sponsors said, “At Airtel Money, we are very keen on supporting talent and entertainment in Uganda and we are very excited to be partners for the Neyanziza concert.

Revelers will also enjoy a seamless 5G internet experience at the concert courtesy of Airtel Uganda, the leading 5G telecom network in the country.

Sheebah also expressed her gratitude to Airtel Money for the partnership. She said, “Airtel Money has come on board to ease the sale of tickets. My fans can now access tickets to the show from the comfort of their homes or at their convenience. I always want the best for my fan base and I am grateful to Airtel Money for making this possible.”

Come 4th October 2024, Sheebah Karungi’s fans can expect an electric performance of her greatest hits. She also promised to reveal the man behind her pregnancy very soon!

Sheebah also revealed to this website that she is not in any competition with any one and thus her concerts supersede those for competitions whatsoever!

“Let’s get together and celebrate an artist who has changed the music industry in the country. Kabugo concluded.
