The deputy speaker of Parliament, Hon. Among Anita has mourned the Teso cultural leader and paramount chief Papa Augustine Osuban Lemukol, who died on Sunday evening at Mulago National Referral Hospital.
“It is with deep sadness that I got the news of the passing on of our father the Emorimor Papa Osuban Augustine Lemukol from Mulago National referral Hospital. My deep sympathies to his family, the Iteso people and the Country at Large.May the Lord see us through this tough time,” she tweeted.
Its reported that Papa Osuban 88, had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital at the time of his passing.
The Prime Minister of the Iteso Cultural Union confirmed the news of Emorimor’s passing, adding that more information will be communicated regarding his funeral rites.
