Renowned TV personality Sheila Gashumba has revealed that she joined NBS not because she is broke.
After Ugandans taking a toll on Sheila, attacking her on social while calling her all sorts of names for returning on Ugandan TVs after trashing them a year ago, Sheila Gashumba has come out to defend herself.
Sheila through her her social media pages,wrote that she was only begged to join NBS by her former NTV Uganda colleague Douglas Lwanga.
In the same messages,Gashumba revealed that Kin Karisa,the NBS proprietor promised her some good chunks of money as her salary pay,a reason she accepted backed by the begging.
“Common sense isn’t common there is a reason why Douglas and Kats left to another station (better cheque) and there is a reason why the best tv presenter has join the best tv station @nbstv Do ur research and stop the noise and don’t forget to watch the show from Monday to Friday,” she wrote.
She added,
“Got a call from @DouglasLwangaUg two weeks ago to join the Fantastic 5, I met Kin Kaliisa about working on @nbstv but not only was the tv pay very juicer he topped it by adding icing on the cake with projects I’m working on next year!Thank you for valuing tv presenters @KKariisa“- she posted,.
