The commander of the Uganda Land forces Lt Gen Peter Elwelu has revealed how unregretfull he is for fighting the People of Kasese.
Immediately after taking oath as an army MP, Elwelu noted that invading the Kasese palace of Omusinga was aimed at fishing out the wrong elements who had bad plans for this nation.
“What are you talking about? I don’t regret killing them. Those people deserved to die. They were rebels who wanted to disrupt the peace of the country. Kasese now has peace because of my good decesion.” He said.
The invasion of the place claimed more than 100 of lives, capturing and arresting the Omusinga whom the government accused of subversive activities.
