Quran is 24 while Cheryl is 61 – giving them a 37-year age gap. Cheryl is the grandmother of 17 children.

The couple from Rome, Georgia, went viral on TikTok when they started sharing their romantic life and emotional bond. While not everyone is against their love, most people online are trolling and disrespecting them by saying incredibly-mean things.

None of the negativity has phased the couple as they continue to live their best lives and respond to their haters without being let down.

The duo recently announced that they plan on having their first child through surrogacy after natural pregnancy wasn’t possible due to Cheryl’s age.

Quran McCain spoke about their plans for getting pregnant:

“We got married in September 2021, and it’s been a few months since we are ready to start a family.

“Cheryl is 61 and has seven children and 17 grandchildren already but we feel we deserve children of our own.

“We prefer surrogacy, however, we have seen a lot of people embroiled in legal complications far after the child is born.

“We are looking for a nice surrogate who is willing to sign a contract to have nothing to do with the child after its born.

“We don’t want people trying to have a baby for us for financial gain, we are not that financially inclined ourselves.

“With adoption, we are looking for a biracial baby so the baby would know, “I have half black and half white parents,” so he or she would feel that we are his true parents.

“Both of Cheryl’s daughters had hysterectomies in the last few years otherwise they would have been the best option for being as close to a biological child as possible.

Cheryl also spoke on the couple’s decision and understands what they’re getting into:

“We understand that I may not be there for as long as Quran is but I have faith in him.

“If I am not here he can do it. He’s gonna be a great father, he’s a responsible adult. I had every bit of faith that he could raise our child and do it very well.

“Our family is also very supportive of our decision to have children, at first they were hesitant for the same reasons.

“However, now five of my children have come to accept the idea and my mother-in-law and I make videos together.

We hope the couple happiness and love along their journey. Nothing can compare to the true bond two human beings feel and share, no matter what the naysayers say.
