To her, it was quite simple, to perform rather entertain partiers at the Kololo based popular hangout Catwalk lounge and bar and she did exactly as expected, did she only do as to the expectations of the organizers? No, she went beyond the ordinary.
The soft-spoken singer did incredibly well as she did not leave anything to chance, “I am giving this m y best,” she must have told her self. Well, it was yet a night to remember as the ‘Vitamin’ hit maker stormed the lounge and sparked off a love affair in the audience.
No matter who was around, whether men or boys had come with their girlfriends, lovers or just friends, it was very evident, they fell in love with her performance and off course, they felt love for themselves, thanks to the incredible Mbabazi with the band.
The ‘Danger’ songstress filled hearts that had gathered at Catwalk with love and joy as it was seen in their feelings towards their loved ones, partners. She did justice to her hits ‘Dagala,’ ‘Memories,’ ‘Danger,’ ‘Vitamin’; being the most loved hit and ‘The One’ a brand new track off her new EP album.
The band on the other side was on point and made Mbabazi’s job very easy as she did Late Mowzey Radio and Weasel’s Breath Away, Tambula Nange, Ability and Where you are among others before quickly rocking some of the old school jams which sent revelers on a love affair picnic as they danced to the tunes and followed Mbabazi singing along to the lyrics word by word, it was indeed a great time at Catwalk!
The night was later on spiced up with more performances from Geosteady and DJ mixes from Etania, Lito, Mato and Dj Alex.
