The donation was aimed at aiding the charity run scheduled to take place on Saturday July 03rd, 2021.

“This donation is a clear indication of our continued partnership with Nkozi hospital to organize the Rotary-Nkozi Marathon Virtual Charity run aimed at raising funds for the construction of the Accident Casualties and Trauma Center at Nkozi Hospital in Mpigi District,” said Stephen Mukisa, Senior Manager-Brand Management at Movit Products Limited.

The virtual run is set to solicit funds from Rotarians, leaders, members of the business fraternity, corporate entities and the general public towards constructing an Accident Causalities and Trauma Center.

“We have been part and continue to be part of this noble initiative that is directed towards providing the much-needed support to victims of road accidents along the Kampala-Masaka Highway. While handing over the kits to Nkozi Hospital officials, Stephen Adinyai, Brand Manager, Movit said the kit unveiling and handover event was in line with Movit’s pledge to support the run, for the 5th year running.

“Therefore, as sign of this commitment to support this year’s initiative and as part of Movit’s Corporate Social Investment initiative, we are today handing over a total of 1,550 marathon kits and 50 polo t-shirts for VIPs which we procured to aid in the run,” he remarked.
