MTN Uganda has announced its sponsorship of Alive in the Park: The Big Party, a mega gospel festival happening on Friday, 12th September 2025 at Millennium Park, Lugogo (formerly KCCA Grounds).

At the launch event, MTN confirmed a flash sale on tickets via the MTN MoMo app, giving fans a chance to grab passes at 50% off for one day only.

Speaking at the press conference, Mavis Ndagire Musungu, GTM Digital Specialist at MTN Uganda, said MTN is proud to stand with the music industry, “For 18 years we’ve empowered artists and uplifted them through platforms like CallerTunez and MoMo ticketing. It will be an honor to host you, Pompi, on the platform too.”

Festival organizer Ronnie Habasa of Vineyard Entertainment Group shared the vision, “Alive in the Park started five years ago during COVID. This 5th edition is a true celebration—a big party of worship, music, and joy.”

Zambian gospel star Pompi, headlining the event alongside Theresa Phondo, Afrie, and Uganda’s top gospel acts, promised an unforgettable show, “Kampala, get ready!”

Tickets for the festival,  Ordinary is at Shs30,000 (Early Bird Shs20,000), VIP  at Shs70,000, and VVIP is only at Shs150,000. Available on the MTN MoMo app or by dialing 16520#.

With world-class performances, powerful worship, and a unifying spirit, Alive in the Park: The Big Party is set to be the biggest gospel highlight of 2025.
