MTN MoMo Uganda has officially rolled out Term 3 of its “Win School Fees with MoMo” campaign, extending relief and hope to even more Ugandan families as the new school term kicks off.

The campaign has already transformed the lives of over 50 families who have had their children’s school fees fully paid for an entire year. In Term 3, more parents and guardians will get the same life-changing opportunity, reaffirming MoMo’s role as a trusted, secure, and empowering digital solution.

At the official Term 3 handover in Wandegeya, two proud winners, teachers Nalukwago Brenda and Kisaalita Juma, received the ultimate relief: a full year’s worth of school fees covered by MTN MoMo.

For Brenda, the win meant lifting an enormous burden, “Winning school fees for a year is such a relief and has lifted a great weight off my shoulders,” she said, visibly moved by the life-changing opportunity.

Their victory adds to the growing list of families across Uganda who are finding not only ease in paying fees through MoMo, but also the joy of seeing their dedication rewarded.

Since the start of the campaign, more parents and guardians have embraced MoMo as the go-to option for paying school fees — a shift that demonstrates how digital financial services are making education more accessible while easing financial pressure on families nationwide.

Steven Mutana, Chief Strategy and Stakeholder Management, MTN MoMo, explained the significance of the initiative, “Education is at the heart of Uganda’s progress. By rewarding customers with fully paid school fees, we are reaffirming our commitment to financial inclusion and to empowering communities through impactful innovations that go beyond transactions.”

Viola Namuyaba, Senior Manager, Payments, MTN MoMo, added, “We know that paying school fees is one of the biggest priorities for Ugandan families. Through the Win School Fees campaign, we are not only making payments simpler and more secure, but we are also giving parents peace of mind that their children’s education could be fully covered. This is how we bring real value and convenience to our customers’ everyday lives.”

The “Win School Fees with MoMo” campaign is part of MTN’s overarching “Power to Be More” platform, which underlines the company’s mission to equip Ugandans with the digital and financial tools they need to achieve more for themselves, their families, and their communities.

For parents, guardians, and teachers alike, the message is simple: with MoMo, paying school fees isn’t just convenient, it could change your life.
