Singer real name Daniel Lubwama Kigozi better known by his stage name Navio has yet again stamped and signed his position as the top hip hop singer in Uganda.
With his just concluded concert, there’s absolutely no doubt that he is still keeping his position and even his competitors are aware!
Navio is one of the pioneers of the rap music in Uganda and has been on a journey that requires courage, perseverance and vision. He has demonstrated these qualities throughout his career, thanks to brands like Hennessy that entrusted him with an ambassadorial role together with giving a VVIP experience to his just concluded 20-year music concert at Sheraton Hotel gardens.
The glamorous concert that happened the same year Hip Hop is celebrating 50-years was massively attended and Navio’s deliverance was on point, giving his fans the best experience they could have expected from him. There was no way he was going to perform over 200 songs but those he sung off his catalogue settled down well with the audience.
With perfomance of his hits including; Hammadi, Ngalo, Bugumu that he started off with, Nawuliranga, Njogereza, Kata, Nekolela Gyange and One and only among others, he surely nailed it to the maximum! The Klear Kut artiste also did justice to some of his collaborations like Whistle Song, Mr Dj, Survivor featuring Lilian Mbabazi, Omu Kwomu with Young Mulo, Dream with Lyrical G and Mwana weka alongside Flex D’ Pepper among others.
The ‘Nawuliranga’ hitmaker gave in his whole, leaving his fans and music lovers with an A’ experience like never before! It will surely be written in history as one of the most successful concerts Uganda has ever had.
There were also energetic performances from singers including; Lilian Mbabazi, Nina Rose ,Flex D’ Pepper and The Mith among others who equally delivered great performances.
