13-times Uganda Premier League (UPL) Champions, KCCA FC have confirmed the signing of midfielder Faisal Wabyoona.

The player agreed to a 5-year deal with KCCA. His contract at the club will run from Friday, 1st July 2022 to 2027.

Faisal Wabyoona will stay at Lugogo until atleast 2027

It’s a dream come true!

After putting pen to paper, the 19-year-old said: “I feel very happy to sign for KCCA FC. This is a very big club and I am aware of the task at hand but I am ready for the competition.”

“I have worked with the Manager (Morley Byekwaso) before and this was an easy decision for me to make. I can wait to get started soon with the lads,” he added.

At Lugogo, Wabyoona will reunite with coach Morley Byekwaso who he played under as the Uganda Hippos reached the AFCON U20 final in Mauritania 2021.

In the former Big Talent Academy player, KCCA have just gotten themselves a versatile midfielder who can play as an attacking, central as well as defensive midfielder.

Wabyoona has also formerly played for Bright Stars.
