A Kenyan woman, Martha Wanjiku, has shared a heartbreaking story of how her mother had an affair with her husband.
In an interview with NTV, Martha revealed she got married to her first lover after high school, but their marriage lasted only two years. They broke up in 2007.
Martha said after breakup, she lost her young child. Secret affair Martha said she found out about her biological mother’s affair with her ex-husband in 2020.
“Nilishtuliwa na simu siku moja asubuhi, nikaambiwa nikaokoe mamangu anapigwa na my ex. One morning, I received a call to rescue my mom from being beaten by her husband, who happened to be my ex),” she said.
Martha said when she arrived at her mother’s house, she confronted her ex-hubby, asking him he beat up his ex-mother-in-law and was shocked by his response.
“Aliniambia, mtu anaulizwanga akipiga bibi yake? (he told me why was I concerned if a man beat his wife).”
Accompanied by her aunt, Martha said they asked her ex for how long the two dated and shock on them, it was more than two decades.
Mum: “Your Genes Caused This” “He told us they had been together for more than 25 years. When I was married, they were still having an affair.” The soft-spoken woman said whenever her husband assaulted her and reported him to her mom, she did nothing.
Martha, a single mom of one said she forgave her mom and took care of her the whole of 2020 when she was ailing. She disclosed she took loans to take care of her mom. But after recovering, her mom went back to her man.
“One day, I visited her and was shocked to find her with my ex,” teary Martha said.
