Breaking! Army, Police seal off NUP Offices

The National Unity Platform (NUP) headquarters in Kamwokya have been sealed off by officers from the Army and Uganda Police.

This website understands that the security officers demanded to know what was happening inside the offices.

The NUP board executive had earlier on hosted a meeting with their youth leaders before the raid.

By the time of filing this story, the army and police personnel had gained access to offices and are currently conducting a search.

The raid comes a day after the party announced that they had collected a sum of Shs. 117 million to support their candidates in nominations.
