If you have been going for a drink or a meet up with a friend on Wednesdays at Catwalk bar and lounge, you now even have a more reason to visit it every Wednesday for its ‘a Ugarock’ band night.
Launched Wednesday Feb 1, 2023, the Kololo Acacia avenue based hangout, will now have guests, party goers have more meaning to the night as they will be enjoying the band, with a unique sound.
Ra256 band, composed of both Africans and whites and deliver a unique sound blend of Uganda and Russia’s rich cultures, thus termed as Ugarock, a genre the band members say is a one of a kind and does not exist anywhere.
The band will be playing every Wednesday evening backed by DJ mixes from select DJs Desh, Melvin, Alex and Future, hosted by carter daisy
