Electoral Commission boss, Justice Simon Byabakama has opened up to Bobi Wine, the justification as to why he in unaware of the ongoing police brutality in the campaigns.
Justice Byabakama says he has been off social media for quite some time and that he ‘cannot’ operate a digital mobile smart phone because these are gadgets for the ‘young generation’.
This prompted the NUP delegation led by the presidential candidate Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert himself to politely ask the EC boss if he utilizes part of his time to follow news broadcasts on television stations.
Surprisingly, Byabakama responded that his TV subscription for the DSTV expired way back in October and that he has since not followed what happens in the news.
“My DSTV expired 2 months ago so I do not watch TV,” he said.
After noticing that the EC boss seems to be playing mind games, the NUP team which moved with evidence gathered from the field just displayed some of the heinous photos to prove the brutality point. By press time, the closed door engagement between the two sides was still ongoing. More details will be released shortly.
