Exclusive Crafts,Talents,Skills Exhibited at Kampala Innovation Week 4th Edition

To the starters,Kampala Innovation Week,a highly competitive technological platform in Uganda that was happening at Motiv warehouse in Bugolobi was called to an end Saturday November 28 for the 2020 edition.


In a bid to help youth with ambition to take their innovations higher, the platform allows young people to showcase their innovations and startups to thousands of other established innovators and potential funders world wide.

The 4th edition,held virtually in respect to the Ministry of Health guidelines to stop the spread of the Bible coronavirus,the 3-day event attracted thousands of online participants world over and minimal number who were in attendance physically who heaped praises to the organizers of the event.

Kampala Innovation Week saw attendees treated to the extra ordinary entertainment from singers Sheebah Karungi and Navio real name Daniel Kigozi among others with great performances.

Upon stepping on stage, Navio did his songs including;Ngalo, Locomotive ft Lillian Mbabazi and Rabadaba, Nawuliranga and Jogereza among others.

The event was finally wrapped up by Sheebah who made an electrifying performance leaving those in attendance wanting more and more of her energetic performance.

Organized by Startup Uganda,Response Innovation Lab and Talent Africa,the event brought together some of the best exhibitors with a wide range of selected products and services to showcase to the World.

There were also performances from upcoming Hip hop artists including C Frey,J Ark, Lillian and Rider King among others.

Those whose projects, crafts among others were outstanding, walked home different accolades and special recognitions.

Startup of the year Agriculture – Akorion
Startup of the year Health – Rocket Health-Digital Health.

Startup of the year- Tugende
Startup champion of the year corporate sector-Stanbic bank Uganda.

Startup champion of the year public sector-Ministry of ICT.

Startup champion of the year in Development Sector: United Nations Capital Development Fund.

Startup of the year in Technology-Flip Africa.

Heap Hope award- upcoming artist Cfrey
Other winners include;

The youth livelihood and conflict project in Adjumani and Obongi districts(Prospers project),Promoting solar powered energy efficiency stoves to Kyakwali refugees,Sport for Peace,Corporative managed energy Kiosks,Cloud Green &Waste to Energy,closing the loop among others.
