FUFA Big League kick-off date confirmed

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has announced March 18, 2021 as the kick off date for the 2021/22 StarTimes Uganda FUFA League.

The development was confirmed by Hajjati Aisha Nalule, FUFA Competitions Director in a preparatory meeting with Big League clubs on Friday, February 26, at Jevine Hotel, Lubaga in Kampala.

The Premier League is the only league that was given greenlight to kick-off ever since President Museveni allowed football/sports resumption in the country.

The 16 clubs that are going to participate in the Big League include; New entrants, Luwero United, Tiles and Terrazo FC and Tourism United have been pitched in Rwenzori group alongside Nyamityobora Fc, Proline FC, Kigezi Home Boyz FC, Ndejje University FC and Water FC.

In Elgon group, new entrants Calvary FC and Gadaffi FC will face off with Arua Hill FC (Formerly Dove All Stars FC), Paidha Black Angels, Maroons FC, Kiboga Young FC Kataka FC and Blacks Power FC (Formerly Bukedea Town Council FC).
