Its Evil: Netizens Cry out for Government Intervention over Indecency at Tusker Cider Blankets and Wine

A section of concerned Ugandans have come out to cry out out to government to intervene in the immoral acts happening in Kampala in the names of events.

A one Pius mentioned that the Tusker Cider sponsored Blankets and Wine is one of those events where young people carry evil acts in the name of having fun.

 

“They almost go naked, perform immoral acts at broad day light,” he said.

Another cited the need for government to censor these events most especially the “so called picnics.“

Blankets and Wine is an sinful event that attracts young people with wrong characters,all happens at the event is evil. It is an event where lesbians and homosexuals meet.”

“Fr. Lokodo (May His Soul Rest in Peace) was right on government controlling these events and now young kids are decaying,” he added.

 

“We can upon government through the Anti Ponography Committee to check such useless and sinful events, if this is not stopped, our kids will copy such immoral acts and will end up eating up the next generation.

I will personally drag government to court if nothing is done before the end of this year,” he concluded.

Blankets and Wine is a quarterly, picnic-style, family friendly music festival which was started in 2008 in Kenya, always carried out every first Sunday of the month at the country’s capital Nairobi.

The event was later on introduced in Uganda in August 2012 and has gone on to grow since, holding four events a year in Kampala.

The recent edition saw performances from Nigeria’s Ayra Starr and South Africa’s Afro-pop music duo Blaq Diamond among others.
