A secondary school teacher from Jinja has shocked many by resigning from his job after winning a staggering 400 million UGX from fixed games betting.

Patrick, who had been teaching at one of Jinja’s top schools, shared how he took a bold leap of faith after reading numerous success stories about Uganda Bettors Association’s fixed games.

“I kept seeing testimonials of people winning millions through fixed games provided by Uganda Bettors Association. At first, I was skeptical, but after thorough research, I decided to take the risk,” he revealed.

Determined not to make mistakes, Patrick went all in. He contacted the association, made the necessary payments, and even let them place the bet on his behalf.

“After paying, I gave them my bank details. The next day, they called me and said the ticket had won!”

Even then, he struggled to believe it. He feared he might be scammed or asked for more money. But to his astonishment, the association only deducted 15% of his winnings as agreed—and the rest was deposited directly into his bank account.

“I couldn’t believe my eyes! I rushed to the bank, checked my account, and boom—there it was! I screamed so loudly that everyone in the banking hall turned to look at me. I was officially a millionaire!”

With 400 million UGX in his pocket, Patrick has made a life-changing decision: he is leaving his teaching career behind to focus on investing.

“I am not going to continue betting—I don’t want greed to take over. My financial struggles pushed me to this, and now that I have won, it’s enough. Teaching has been tough, and I am finally saying goodbye. My next step is to invest wisely.”

Patrick’s story is now inspiring many Ugandans who dream of financial freedom.
