Pastor Jackson Ssenyonga of Christian Life Ministries is set to traverse all over Uganda preaching the good gospel aimed at delivering the country from evil that is eating up the entire country.
According to the man of God, Uganda and the world as a whole has had a tough time following the outbreak of COVID-19 Pandemic as such, evil took advantage of the scenario.
While addressing journalists on Wednesday at his Christian Life Church in Makerere Kavule, Pr. Ssenyonga disclosed that these are not usual crusades but are crafted purposely to help deliver humanity especially the vulnerable people from evil.
I understand that the Country is still healing from COVID-19 which we all know eroded a lot of success and pushed many people behind in their respective capacities and mostly affected businesses but it is time to put that to the past and start a new chapter, a Godly one,” he said.
The powerful man of God said the move is aimed to awaken people from Covid,reviving their deeds and building the country in the new era after COVID-19, one that respects and lives in God’s ways.
We intend to preach to our people in different regions in Uganda and we strongly believe these messages will awaken many souls and lure them to live lives portraying Christ.”
The crusades according to Pr. Ssenyonga will kick off in April with Kagadi region. Kampala Sqoop understands that people in those 14 regions, most especially the needy will be given a assortment of items including soap, sugar, goats and shoes among others.
This is not just a typical crusade but collection of all born again men and women of God to preach to Uganda a common message of peace, deliverance, revival and repentance among others with over 95% of the preachers being selected from within those regions.
Ssenyonga also revealed that there will be youth empowerment training sessions as well and the crusade will be joined by some of the remarkable men of God including Bishop Tom Okello from Lira, Pastor Alex Mitila,Pastor Joel Bukenya,Pastor Nicholas Wafula and Pastor Peter Emiau among others.
The crusades are anticipated to attract over 500,000 people from every region and this according to Pastor Ssenyonga, will turn people back to Christ.
Pastor Ssenyonga further called upon government to consider coming up with a bill which bans and prohibits religions that use criminality to solve problems whose deeds he said are a danger to the lives of Ugandans most especially vulnable,children and women who are mutilated to empower witchdoctors who believe their power gets stronger and mightier when they shed blood and do human sacrifices among others and have brought about moral decay spiritually as seen with rampant child sacrifices, be-heading and kidnaps among others.
