On Friday, day 2 of the 4-day Nyege Nyege Festival picked off from day one’s vibe in high gear.
After the ‘Nyege In City’ session that happened on Jinja City streets from morning to 3 PM, back at the festival’s venue, Golf Course, Jinja, it was all partying and fun again as revelers experienced what the day had to offer.
The other stages, namely Reggae Nyege, Dark Star, Uganda Waragi and Hakula started off with a few numbers but later got some numbers.
The performances on the main stage were kicked off by Olivia, a singer from Colombia and later on rapper MC Spyda took revelers on rap trip followed by Genzan from Japan and Cali P from Switzerland and Recho Ray. The show was later on mashed up in what would be regarded as the biggest highlight was Zex Bilangilangi who closed the night in style performing some of his fans’ favourite songs that the crowd vibed to.
Aside from the performances, there were other activities which kept the revelers engaged like volleyball, basketball and circus. The festival as usual, is organized by Talent Africa.
