As numbers of youths wake up to go job hunting in the streets of Kampala, the youths in Masaka and Kyotera are creating jobs for themselves thanks to Kasolo Foundation.

The Foundation that was founded by State Minister for Microfinance Hon Haruna Kyeyune Kasolo has helped more than 100,000 youths in Masaka and Kyotera and had enrolled them in trainings under his foundations’ Training centre.

According to Allan Tendo, the Executive Director of Kasolo Foundation, the youths were trained in different fields that include financial literacy, farming and savings. Among these, a number of 156 were retained and are currently permanent employees of the Foundation whereas the others went on to start their own businesses.

Tendo also added that the time these youths would have spent doing all sorts of evil, is well spent working or learning at the Kasolo Foundation Training Centre.
