PICS: Bringing Back Golden Memories of Uganda’s Top Music Shows,Concerts

It’s a weekend and due to the noble Corona Virus and all it’s related inconveniences in terms of Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs),most people around the World do stay indoors in their homes, others probably spend most the time jogging in the streets among others.
Before the outbreak of the pandemic, revelers, football fans and cinema goers would find themselves enjoying the privileges of being in the lap of nature and look, there isn’t any better timing than a weekend gate-away.
In Africa and Uganda to be specific, music shows, concerts are always scheduled for Fridays,Saturdays and Sundays where revelers go and enjoy performances from different singers and exciting entertainers among others.
There was never a thing such as ‘Online events’ as most Ugandans prefer being at the events themselves and not watching on TV or following them on You tube,Facebook among other platforms. The turn up for most events is ever massive.
Where do all these People get the money to pay for show tickets? one would be tempted to ask.Well, that’s food for thought, but all we are sure is that they are always attracted by the engaging vibe from the performers and need to quench their thirst for the ever-soothing loud music rolling down the venue.
Now that we are in lockdown,’Online’ is the ‘Order of the Day’ be it cooking competitions, birthdays,Music album launches and concerts among others.
Kampala Sqoop brings you the golden memories of some of the previous events that probably most of you could be missing. Some already happened last year, others exist annually and were already postponed and others only have to happen live rather, online.
