Romantic photos! Comedian Ronnie McVex proposes to girlfriend using a drone
Comedian and Next Radio Presenter, Ronnie McVex Musiimenta has proposed to longtime girlfriend, Patience Mbabazi who runs a fashion house called Dope Mama. The engagement took place yesterday at a yet to be identified location.
The excited comedian today afternoon took his Facebook account to announce that his now fiancée said, ‘yes’ when he popped the big question.
“SHE SAID YES. Starting my birth month with results. The lord has surely been gracious. And his word true to me,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
The Events MC further wrote that it was high time he took the step towards formalising their relationship since they had successfully dated for long.
“Earlier it felt normal because I have been with this beautiful lady. I couldn’t take her being with me for granted, I needed to take a step higher, of course with her permission,” he wrote, adding, “On bended knee, I made my request to make her the queen in my kingdom and she granted me the opportunity. Babe, let’s make our kingdom the most beautiful.”
This nicely written post was accompanied by lovely pictures of the engagement party.
The radio presenter was smartly dressed in an all-black outfit just like his now fiancée was dressed in a lovely evening dress of the same color.
In one of the photos, a drone camera is seen transporting the ring in a small red box to Ronnie McVex while Mbabazi couldn’t hold her excitement at such a nice surprise proposal.
As the engagement ceremony took place, a nice band was present playing sweet love melodies for the new engaged couple.
Fellow comedians, media personalities, friends and family members joined in congratulating the couple upon their engagement on the comedian’s Facebook account.
Ronnie McVex always took the opportunity on whatever occasion he got to show off his now-fiancée, Mbabazi to the world before his friends and on his social media pages.
In one his Facebook posts this year, August 12, the radio presenter while crushing on his first lady revealed a bit of how they came to meet until they dated.
Ronnie McVex said they met at a time Mbabazi was a student and the cultural Minister at Uganda Martyrs University, Nkozi where the comedian was the guest performer on the university’s grand finale night cultural week.
He says it was love at first sight and thereafter he kept on inviting Mbabazi for Fun Factory’s comedy nights to watch him performing. This took place for a couple of months until Ronnie McVex convinced her to become his girlfriend. The couple has been blessed with a young son identified as Ethan.
