South Africa’s Blaq Diamond Confirmed for 10th Anniversary of Blankets and Wine

South Africa’s Afro-Pop music duo Blaq Diamond have been confirmed for the upcoming Blankets and Wine 10th Anniversary celebration.

The organizers thought it necessary to add in Blaq Diamond to the massive line up of performers set to embrace the Tusker Cider event happening on the 24th of July 2022 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

The announcement was made at a press briefing and media immersion hosted at the Naguru Skyz Hotel Friday 1 July.

Blaq Diamond are popularly known for their hit song ‘Summer yo Muthi,’ will be joining Nigerian songstress Ayra Star, both of whom will perform alongside Zulitums, Joshua Baraka, Aliddeki Brian, DJ Ssesse and others.

Speaking at the press briefing at Naguru Skys hotel, Agaba Tumusiime, the UBL Reserve Brand Ambassador said that Tusker Cider is once again excited to come on board for this edition.

Blankets and Wine gives an Urban-Afrocentric experience through an exceptional display of talent through live music, fashion and art.

This edition of Blankets – just like the previous ones – will feature lots of live music, fashion and art in addition to a top-billed Tusker Cider experience with lots of exciting games and discounted drinks.

Early bird tickets are available at Shs 100,000 and are available at Kenji’s (Kisementi), SNV (Bugolobi), Zone 7 (Mbuya), the Wine Garage (Muyenga), Kanyana’s Bakery (Kiwatule) and Shisa Nyama Village (Bugolobi).
