Socialite Martha ‘Kay’ Kagimba has said the exposing of her private pictures made her a stronger and more focused person.
Two years ago, Martha’s private pictures found their way onto social media, with two men remanded to Luzira prison for allegedly leaking them.
The scandal which trended for several months saw the ‘Range Rover Girl’ push herself into exile.
However, a few days later, Martha broke the silence and shared news of her come back on social media, claiming that this time round she’s better, wiser and stronger than anyone can imagine.
“Hey guyz, the last three months have probably been the most challenging I have ever had to face and yet the most empowering. I have been learning, unlearning and relearning a lot of things so as to grow into a much better, wiser and stronger version of myself,” she said.
Martha claimed that life has not been easy for her, that’s why she chose to give herself time off before making a social media comeback.
“I have learnt that it’s not what happens to you, but how you react that matters at the end of the day. (not how you fall, but how you get up) taking this time off has given me a chance to breathe, reflect, recharge and strategize on what I truly want for my life.”
She also noted that everything that happened is all in the past now, and she is only going to focus on building her empire.
“I am so excited to get back to growing my events company into the empire I always envisioned. I have also been working on so many projects that I just cannot wait to share with y’all. Otherwise, I missed you guys and I am excited for a second chance to dance with life again,” she said.
Martha said that many people are still teasing her both on and off social media about the same incident.
“People are trying to put me down. I was doing so well (before) and they decided to do something that would bring me down,” Martha said in part.
She added; “But I realised I won’t let them win, even now people are teasing me on social media but I won’t let them win,”
Currently Martha’s name is a big brand in the country. She hosts different events on TV and parties. Confidence, patience and hard work have built her!
