UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell band are already in Uganda ahead of concert scheduled for Saturday at Kololo Independence Grounds.

Reggae music enthusiasts are over the moon following the arrival of the entire band of UB40 featuring Ali Campbell in Uganda today.

The band led by Ali Campbell, touched down Entebbe International Airport Friday morning at exactly 2:00am ahead of their concert at the Kololo Independence grounds this Saturday.

 

With just one day to the show, the 20-member band’s arrival and Ali Campbell as lead singer is definately nothing short of excitement, with a warm reception at the airport.

 

NBS’ Douglas Lwanga was at Kenyatta Airport in Nairobi where he received the band and ushered them to Entebbe Airport.

The show, which is in celebration of NBS’ 15th anniversary, according to the organizers, is going to fund the planting of 15 million trees in Uganda.

 

Despite the buzz surrounding the event, there’s still a chance for fans to secure their tickets and be part of this historic reggae night. Ticket sales are ongoing, offering music enthusiasts the opportunity to witness UB40 ft. Ali Campbell’s legendary performance live in Uganda.

In addition to UB40 featuring Ali Campbell’s headline act, the concert will showcase Uganda’s amazing musical talent with artists including; Bebe Cool, Vinka, Rema Namakula, Navio, and Weasel, among others slated to perform alongside the international sensation. This fusion of musical talent is set to create an atmosphere of celebration as NBS TV celebrates 15 years on the Ugandan media scene.

There’s still a chance for fans to secure their spot and be part of this historic night. The Tickets are on sale on the MTN Momo app, www.tagticketing.com, or by using the MTN USSD short code *165*98# Bronze tickets are at Shs100, silver Shs200k. Tables; a gold table at 5 million that seats 8 people and a platinum table at Shs9m seating 8 people too.
