UB40 lead singer who also doubles as UB40 featuring Ali Campbell boss (Ali Campbell) has praised Reggae music and regarded it as a unifying factor to nations.

The brains behind UB40 made this statement while addressing media at a press conference held Friday afternoon at Next Media Park in Naguru.

Happening on Saturday March 2, 2024 at the Kololo Independence grounds, and dubbed ‘UB40 featuring Ali Campbell Concert,’ is anticipated to be a momentous historic reggae event on the Uganda’s entertainment scene and will with no doubt mark a significant milestone in Uganda’s entertainment history, also perfectly aligning with NBS TV’s ‘15 Million Trees’ campaign that promises to see 15 million trees planted across Uganda over the next three years.

Talent Africa Group shared their enthusiasm for the journey of bringing ‘UB40 featuring Ali Campbell’ to Uganda. “We are excited to be part of this historic moment, bringing world-class entertainment to our beloved country. The ‘UB40 featuring Ali Campbell Concert’ will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on all attendees,” said Aly Alibhai, the CEO of Talent Africa Group.

Joseph Kigozi, the Next Media Deputy Group CEO, expressed his excitement about the upcoming event, stating, “The ‘UB40 featuring Ali Campbell Concert’ is a great representation of Uganda’s vibrant spirit and diversity. It is an honour to celebrate NBS TV’s 15th anniversary alongside such an iconic band about 15 years since they last were here, and we look forward to delivering an unforgettable experience for Ugandans.”

Tables are selling out fast too. Secure a gold table at 5 million that seats 8 people and a platinum table at 9 million UGX seating 8 people too.
